Jetsetters,
Let's be honest, change can be a real challenge for us entrepreneurs.
I had a chance to sit down with Best-Selling Author, Brad Stulberg (@BStulberg). He just released a new book called Master of Change and he shared some mind-blowing insights and frameworks to handle change like a pro in your business.
On today’s episode, you’ll learn:
🏆 The Power of Rugged Flexibility
📈 The Powerful Four-Piece Framework
🧠 How to Master the Art of Responsive Mindset
💻 The Importance of Having Multiple Identities
Here are a few juicy excerpts from today’s episode to get you flowing:
Embracing Change: "It's about skillful action. It's about knowing our values and what we stand for and then flexibly applying them. To meet the moment as things constantly and inevitably change." — Brad Stulberg (08:24)
The Importance of Balancing Focus and Identity: "If you wanna be great at something, spend a lot of time, attention, and energy focusing on that. You need to spend a lot of time in that room of your house. I'm not arguing you need to spend equal amounts of time in equal rooms. What I am arguing is you never wanna shut the doors to the other rooms. And you can emphasize different parts of your identity at different parts of your life. And to me, that is not only the key to being happy, maintaining mental health, it's also the key to elite performance." — Brad Stulberg (23:05)
This episode is a game-changer. I swear!
Let’s get down to business!

I’ve been building businesses for 8 years now so I know a thing or two about building businesses.
So, for today’s journal entry, I’ll lay out how I plan to launch my next company.
This is the exact playbook that I would recommend for anyone wanting to start a new business today.
I’ll lay it all out in plain sight so you can copy the same playbook for your own business.
Ready?
Let's dig in...
Mindset
The first component to any new business is yourself. What do I mean by this?
You have to mentally prepare yourself to be in this game for at least 5-10 years.
A core principle I preach is the notion that you should absolutely love what you do so that it doesn’t feel like work.
I call it work-life alignment… where “work” doesn’t feel like “work” at all.
You’d spend your free time doing what you love, and you happen to get paid for it.
For me, I love building businesses. And building out my Personal Holding Company over the last 8 years has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
And I want to help others build PHCs on their own.
I’m willing to dedicate the next 10, 20 years to this mission.
Audience
Next, I’m going directly to my audience. In early September, I started posting more content around my Personal Holding Company.
The content resonated and I started getting a lot of new followers who were interested in PHC.
What’s funny is… when I started talking about PHC, the content was definitely on the advanced side. I thought I’d lose followers and alienate my audience.
But guess what? I started getting much HIGHER value creators and founders following me. So it had the opposite effect.
So don’t be afraid to share the content YOU want to share - you’ll attract that audience!
What did I do when these new followers interested in PHCs followed me?
I DM’d them to open a conversation.
Product
I talked to a ton of folks about their biggest pain points around PHCs.
As I saw patterns, this shaped the potential product line that I’d be offering my audience.
I’m still in the research phase but I’m seeing trends already which has given me clear indications of where to start.
I won’t reveal them just yet… but there’s a lot in the works.
I’ve been reaching out and finding potential business partners to launch these companies with.
Scale
Haven’t gotten to this stage yet… but once I launch with the right business partners, I do plan to scale pretty quickly.
My main distribution channel will be my own personal brand and partnerships with other creators.
By the way, I talk about this exact MAPS framework in my podcast in case you want to listen.
Thanks for reading!

E-commerce fulfillment is a pain. One time, one of my customers emailed me asking me why we had shipped them an empty box. It turns out the 3PL had stolen the $1,000 product and shipped an empty box to my customer. Yeah, that was not fun.
So, I launched GrowthJet, a Climate-Neutral Certified third-party logistics company for e-commerce brands.
GrowthJet is the 3PL that I wish I had when I launched my own brand, Urban EDC.
If you have an e-commerce shop, check out GrowthJet and hit me up!
